Panther Travel Center
Located on the corner of Hudson Road and Ridgeway Avenue in Cedar Falls, the Panther Travel Center is a 14,800 square foot building consisting of a full service convenience store, automotive repair service center and Smokin’ Oak Wood Fired Pizza. Its name and purple and gold accents are of course influenced by the nearby University of Northern Iowa and their Panther mascot. Analogous entrances give an overall cohesive look, yet small details set each business apart from each other. Directly west of the Panther Travel Center on the same development is a Dairy Queen Restaurant.
The convenience store has a spacious feel and is complemented by generously sized restrooms to better accommodate larger crowds like traveling families or buses of on-the-road sports teams. Smokin' Oak Wood Fired Pizza has a casual, family friendly atmosphere and features a 900 degree wood-fired oven that can bake a pizza in 90 seconds. Panther Auto Repair is an independent full-service automotive repair center that can take care of anything from simple oil changes to engine repair and tires.
